Revealing Clarissa as a pet might’ve been a good twist, had it not be so obvious and disclosed so early. In the 1980s there was a popular series of videos called “Faces of Death.” They were exploitative, unseemly and disquieting. This was a little like that. I think a new ending would be welcome, perhaps showing some real resolution beside the MC being grossed out.
