I didn’t even notice Bill Tope’s response about 12 Angry Men until I just looked up and read it now so I’m on the right track (which I seldom am, since my north-pointing compass is often interrupted by electromagnetic interference to the nth degree of south).

A combination “12 Angry Men” and “Monty Python” or “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” or maybe even “Red Dwarf.” I’ve no idea if the Quantum Physics precepts were legitimate or not; I never got beyond 300-level Physics in college. But, it read well! I could almost place Lee J. Cobb and Henry Fonda and E.G. Marshall in the room. The trial tropes were superb. Well done!
